Genealogy webinars

I just started using Legacy Family Tree as my primary genealogy software and came across their genealogy webinars section.  A webinar is short for Web-based Seminar, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web.

Their webinars cover a variety of topic related to genealogy, such as research optimization, DNA and genealogy, overcoming brick walls, etc…

By going to the website :

you will be able to access their webinars page where you can register to attend the next scheduled webinars as well as to access archived ones, where some are available to watch directly on the website or at least get a preview to see if the subject is interesting.  If you can’t attend a webinar the day it is taken place, you seem to be able to watch it in the next 10 days before it gets pulled from the website.

One webinar that got my attention is the one exposing the Flip Pal scanner.  From what I saw and read from other genealogist who use this device, it seems really convenient and helpful to scan documents, photos, paintings or other objects on the go.  I will probably purchase one in the coming weeks.  Check it out at:
